Course Description

Paranoid Personality Disorder Course

There are many forms of paranoia which most people have experienced to some extent in their life and consider it nothing more than feeling suspicious about the behaviour or intentions of others.

Generally speaking, paranoia is when people think other people are trying to do some harm to them in one form or another and in most cases of paranoia it is usually without any evidence or proof, that is the case.

Paranoia is usually coupled up with both apprehension and anticipation or a fear that something untoward or bad is going to happen to themselves or people and situations around them.

In more severe cases of paranoia people live on a day-to-day basis with a permanent and disturbing awareness that they may be physically harmed in some way and the people around them are talking and laughing about them behind their back and that their intention is to discuss personal information and spread negative or slanderous rumours about the person, also without any proof or evidence and in most cases not even a shred of anything convincing to confirm these feelings and fears are real or justified.

This course provides an insightful look within the minds of paranoid people or everyday regular people who experience paranoia.

This course looks at the accompanying behaviours and symptoms revolving around the paranoid state on various levels, including suspiciousness, super vigilance, super sensitivity, accusation and blame along with anger.

This course offers guidance and an understanding into this disorder of the mind and shows that more people in everyday walks of life experience paranoia on an going basis more than they would care to admit. More people experience paranoia than anyone realises.

The same as anxiety; paranoia and paranoid thoughts are often hidden from everybody for fear of critical judgement on them.

This course is open for enrolment to anybody with or without any background training or experience. Enrolment is open and ongoing all year round.

This course provides a good introduction to complete beginners or trainees and students alike or anyone who is suffering from paranoia and would like to learn more about this subject.

Ideally suited to therapists of all kinds and would act as a good add-on to any therapist’s or care workers portfolio.
