Disability Policy

Open College UK Limited is committed to promoting equality, inclusion and accessibility for all students.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to access education and achieve their learning goals, regardless of disability, health condition or additional support needs.

We aim to treat all students fairly, with dignity, respect and without any discrimination. Wherever reasonably practicable, we will consider individual circumstances and make appropriate adjustments to help disabled students participate fully in our home study, distance learning and online learning programmes.

Reasonable adjustments may include adapting learning materials, providing additional support where appropriate or making alternative arrangements to help students complete their course successfully.

As a distance learning provider, we recognise that every student’s needs are different. We therefore encourage students to inform us of any disability, medical condition or learning difficulty that may affect their studies so that we can discuss appropriate support before or during their course studies.

Any information shared with us regarding a disability or additional support requirement will be treated confidentially and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

Open College UK Limited has supported students with a wide range of disabilities and additional learning needs, many of whom have successfully completed their courses.
