Course Format:

This course is provided in the English language and is fully coursework based. All study materials, including any relevant reading materials and textbooks, are supplied by us in one complete package. There are no additional books, materials or hidden fees required for this course. Everything is covered and all materials are included in your course package.

Method of Learning:

This is a distance learning home study course. Our most popular and positive method of learning. Your study materials are delivered directly to you, allowing you to study from home at your own pace within the recommended study period. This course has been designed in a clear and user-friendly format to support straightforward independent deep learning in an enjoyable way that is suitable for all learners.

Course Objectives:

The aim of this course is to provide students with a broad introductory understanding of important areas within this subject. Upon completion, learners should have developed a sound foundation of theoretical knowledge and an improved understanding of key principles, topics and concepts related to the subject area.

Assessment & Grading:

Assessment for this course is completed through coursework and written assignments. Students who successfully complete the course may achieve a Pass, Merit or Distinction grade. Distinction level is awarded at 90% or above. No attendance at an examination centre is required. All your completed coursework is emailed back to us. No posting on your part is required. All instructions and support contact details are included within your course pack.

Entry Requirements:

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Beginners, intermediate learners and experienced individuals may enrol. Students should be able to read and understand English and complete written coursework assignments by hand or using a computer.

Certification / Qualifications:

Successful students will receive their relevant certification as outlined within the individual course page description, upon successful completion and submission of the completed coursework.

Study Period:

Students are expected to complete the course within the recommended study period outlined within their course materials. Please see ‘course duration’ tab for further details.

Course Accessibility:

Distance learning course packs allows students to study from home and organise study time around existing personal or work commitments. All course packs are set for easy learning without any pressure or high expectations.

Students study at different speeds and with different learning styles or personal circumstances. Distance learning allows students to work through their course materials at their own pace within the recommended study period. Students with dyslexia or other learning difficulties are welcome to enrol, and many people find home study to be a more comfortable and flexible way to learn than any other method.

Family members, carers or support individuals may assist with practical aspects of study where appropriate. Students who are unsure about course suitability are welcome to contact us before enrolment for further guidance.

Coursework Submission:

Completed coursework is submitted electronically by email. Students may submit coursework within the body of an email or by attaching word processed documents or similar file formats where appropriate. Coursework is returned to us by email only. There is no requirement to post coursework back to us by snail mail.

International Students:

We have been providing distance learning course packs to students within the UK and overseas worldwide since 2003. We welcome all students from within the UK and overseas. International student course packs are shipped to you securely worldwide to most countries.
