Introduction to the Anunnaki!

The Sumerians provided the foundation of the first advanced society; they made the greatest breakthrough in the evolution of human thought until that time: the introduction of writing. Sumerian civilization was advanced in a number of ways, including the development of technology and agricultural techniques as well as vast architectural undertakings that included notably ziggurat-based cities.

These achievements benefited from an organized society unified by complex and advanced religion and culture. The Sumerians were also the first people to build an organized government, in notable contrast with the separate city-states and small tribes that inhabited the world prior to 3000 B.C. The strict hierarchy of the people made the land of Sumer a very wealthy one, despite its relatively small size.

The Anunnaki can be distinguished as follows: their royalty’s faces were bearded, the distinctive headbands, a twisted and coiled hairstyle – their facial hair, and special apparel and select emblems which brought admiration and fear that was mind-boggling to mere mortals. One characteristic of the Anunnaki princesses was that they were styled and coiffed as tall or falling reeds to symbolize the fluttering in the winds.

After months of fist-to-fist conflict, and enabling a large contingent of participating and peaceful Anunnaki to escape, Enlil and his cohorts launched a biological attack and distancing solution to erase the memory of their existence through a genetically modified human species that would be easy to control. Similarly, sites where they spent time with human families became taboo, forbidden regions.

However, the extraordinary bloodlines continue to be monitored and the bloodline cannot be extinguished.

The Anunnaki, “Those of Royal Blood” or “Princely Offspring” (the lesser burden bearers), were the benevolent interplanetary creators of our human race from a higher dimension. They, not the Homo sapiens or Neanderthals, were the first widely recognized and accepted “human race” sent to and introduced to Earth.

The knowledge of the Anunnaki has been hidden in secrets, passed down from generation to generation in the belief that within the bloodline, individuals may be able to understand the truth within – that they are of direct descent and distant relation. These family lineages can be traced back through the royal crowns of Mesopotamian empires and forward through assorted Western noteworthy and widely known historical figures.

They were remarkably superior in their knowledge and capabilities to those who were created in their image, acknowledged their fathers through Burton’s version of The Epic of Gilgamesh, and through the original and interpretations of other scholars. Their time on Earth became longer and far more demanding than any had anticipated.

Their period of rule and guidance ended because of Earth’s slowing material cycle, changing ecology, the “Great Flood” catastrophe that emerged from Earth’s magnetic pole displacement shift, and from treachery instigated by Enki’s brother Enlil – who was not considered the heir apparent.

Origin

The meaning of the word Anunnaki in the Legends of Atrahasis is also a very specific one. In this case, the Anunnaki are the great Gods who decided the destruction of the human race.

Nevertheless, if the Anunnaki appear as Gods with this specific role and if they come afterwards to satisfy important religious functions, this does not mean that they are not already ancient Gods of very ancient pre-literate religious practices. The word Anunnaki is frequently interpreted to mean “princely offspring” or “offspring of Anu”.

However, let us see the meaning of the two basic words from which the Sumerian key word “Anunnaki” is composed. The two Sumerian words are “An” and “naki”. The former means “heaven”. The whole meaning of “Anunnaki” is: the force from the heaven.

As a matter of fact, the word Anunnaki is composed of two Sumerian words. The first and probably the most important meaning of the word Anunnaki is the one referring to the Gods of the Lower World, as known from the Legends of Atrahasis. According to the Sumerian King Lists, when the city of Kish held supremacy, the kingship was lowered from the heavens.

Then, four hundred and thirty-two thousand years after the kingship descended from heaven, the kingship was transferred to Eanna and the Anunnaki. They are mentioned in the Old Babylonian studio and in the Hittite and Hurrian written records.
