Course Description

It is estimated that over 50% don’t believe in the theory of evolution nor have they associated it to any real meaning in their life in the same way as they would religion and religious purpose.

Regarding evolution, there are many objections about its authenticity from religious people who will not accept that there is no God and that we’ve somehow just evolved through a transmigration of change and dependent origination from an earlier state or species, one thing coming out of another or one thing reproducing itself with a slight change in that reproduction every so often.

There are many religious objections to evolutionary theory but very few scientific ones. The theory of evolution is a solid and sound scientific theory and has yet to be proved otherwise.

The majority of people around the world who do have a belief in a creator or in creationism from a supernatural being beyond our understanding, a super intelligent entity which has created this universe as part of their own cosmic plan or intelligent design have this faith and belief and there are many who will die for their belief. Scientists however have profound amounts of evidence to argue against creationism.

The two views or beliefs will never see eye to eye and will always be poles apart. This course will take you past the arguments about evolution and creationism or supernatural design to help you share in Darwin’s amazing view and the interaction between both animal and human life including the insect and macro worlds which are all intimately entwined with each other.

Darwin’s theory explains why species behave the way they do from insects to apes. These fundamental and evolutionary basics transcend into our everyday human life and are demonstrated within our cultures through symbolism, morality, and psychology.

It appears that more than half this world is to some extent in comfort and security whilst the rest is in turmoil and chaos. Understanding the theories of Darwin will certainly help us to understand the nature of human beings within our short time on this planet. True understanding of evolution can lead to an improvement in the world and a reduction in human suffering which is often brought on by other human needs and neglects.
