This Open Learning Autism Awareness course aims to improve your understanding of autism and gives in-depth practical suggestions with working with people who are autistic.

Autism is a diverse and profound condition that has been the focus of in-depth expert research over 30 years.

Today, autism often refers to a broad range of personal, social, language difficulty and person to person communication difficulties.

Severity of autism ranges from not much at all, to undiagnosed and even unrecognised, up to the severe, where it is near impossible for the autistic individual to function in society.

There are NO entry requirements. No background training or qualifications are required. Anyone can enrol at any time, beginners, intermediates and experienced all year round.
