Enrolment for this course is open and ongoing to anyone in the UK committed to learning the skills of Shiatsu.

This course is ideal for complete beginners and those who already have similar therapeutic experience/background in other related therapy fields etc.

The word Shiatsu means 'finger pressure' and is a long established Japanese massage technique which aims to rebalance of the body's equilibrium by the application of pressure to the meridians or energy channels, thus reducing physical and mental tension.

This course covers both the practical and spiritual aspects and includes the concept of Chi or Ki energy. This course complements traditional Chinese medicine. Ideal for anyone with an interest in bodywork.

Shiatsu practitioners work in hospitals, nursing homes, natural health practices or run their own mobile practice or work directly from home on a self employed basis.
