Course Description

These courses are ideal if you are a new or existing accounts user who wants to get started and know the basic functionality of Sage 50 Accounts from the comfort of your own home. It’s also ideal for people who want to gain an official Sage Certificate of competence allowing you to put Sage on your CV.

A suite of 4 easy-to-use workbooks for each stage, designed to help you learn how to set up and use all the fundamental features of your Sage 50 software. Each workbook concentrates on a specific area of Sage 50 Accounts and contains practical exercises to help you understand and familiarise yourself with the program. The workbooks are all supplied with a trial version of Sage 50 Accounts and include relevant data backups. These allow you to reinforce your understanding and practice the elements of Sage 50 Accounts that you need to learn.

The Sage 50 Accounts Self Study Bundle comes complete with a 180 day demonstration CD which is used in conjunction with the workbooks to produce exercises which assist with your learning. Screen shots show exactly what will appear on your own computer screen as you work through the tasks. Practical exercises help you get to grips with each function before trying it out on real data.

Easy to understand and use, and written by the experts, these home study workbooks take you through the product in a logical step-by-step way. Each workbook takes you through key processes and contains practical tasks to use the software with confidence.

Using the 180 day version of the software along with easy to use workbooks and data this self study course will give you an understanding of the core principles of Sage 50 Accounts from navigation through to creating and amending the various records, getting started with opening balances and dealing with the day to day operations of Sage 50 Accounts. Throughout the course you can check your understanding with “test your knowledge sessions”.

On completion of this course you are entitled to take Sage 50 Accounts Certificates Level 1, 2 and 3 and become Sage qualified.

Until now, proving your competence as a Sage software user has been difficult. Now, you can gain official recognition of your skills with Sage Certification. It gives an added boost to your skills, and makes you stand out in the job market. For employers, certification makes staff selection and promotion easier. These Self Study Workbooks allow you to work either at home or at work and at your own pace and in your time.

It is not necessary to have any prior learning knowledge about accounts before studying for this course.
