This Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate course provides instruction in the basic skills that are required within the food industry.

Food poisoning is often caused by negligence or ignorance, so with more than 79,000 cases of food poisoning reported last year, it is important that your workforce understand Basic Food Hygiene.

Food poisoning generally occurs because of a lack of awareness and poor food hygiene. This is why, by law, everyone who handles food must receive training and/or supervision in food hygiene specifically appropriate to the job they do. This distance learning Food Hygiene course has been written for everyone who is involved in any industry associated with food preparation. It aims to give all staff, supervisors and managers the essential knowledge needed to offer the very best professional approach to Food Hygiene.
